On thesixtyone, artists sell their music directly to their fans. artists on thesixtyone make at least $7 per album and are

I saw Les Paul play live in New York City on his 90th birthday. He used to play every Monday night at the Iridium Jazz Club in Manhattan. It was a great show ! He was funny and had so much energy for his age.
Les Paul is the only individual to share membership into the Grammy Hall of Fame, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, the National Inventors Hall of Fame, and the National Broadcasters Hall of Fame.
He will be missed and remembered by many.

iTunes 9 to include the ability to visually organize and arrange your iPhone and iPod touch applications.
I always wondered why this wasn't a feature already.
Hopefully this isn't just a rumor.
I can't wait.

If your upgrading to Logic Pro 9, here are a few tips before you do so.
As with any upgrade of Logic or the Mac OS , many 3rd party plugins stop working.
I recommend installing Logic 9 on another hard drive with a copy of your OS.
I use
Carbon Copy Cloner to make an exact copy of my system on a different hard drive. Then I install the update.
I've opened a few songs from Logic 8 and like I said some 3rd party plugins don'…

I'm really struggling with Ternary rhythms at the moment... and like Kelvin said, it's not the technique, it's the 'feel'.
Really frustrating when you know how it should sound, and listening to it you can feel the groove, but when I put hands to hide it just doesn't gell! PITA!
Perhaps I'm forcing it, although last night I tried to be loosey-goosey and it still didn't come.
Grrr.
Anyway - get the Djabara recording from last night at the link below.…

On Monday 19th Nov, I attempted the advanced test and I have passed! Yippee!
It is the first performance test that I have gone through in about 18 years... and the first one ever with an instrument! Crap I was so nervous!
My heart was in my throat the whole time, and I was so nervous that I had to restart a couple of rhythms a few times. Fortunately we do not get penalised for that!
The grading was based on tempo, technique and interpretation of the rhythm, and Kelvin…

I did the dununs (Sangban) for the Monday night class last night.
They're doing Kassa, and I picked what I thought was the easiest rhythm, and I think it ended up being the hardest because most of the beats were off-beats.
Sheesh!
For those that are interested in doing the Dununs for other classes, please put your name down with Kelvin.
