Hi everyone,

I must say that the Mamady masterclass week was exhilarating! Classes for me will never be the same again. I've newfound energy to explore more about the djembe and West African music.

Thanks to Kelvin for arranging this amazing workshop. And special thanks to those who have contributed to the learning, practicing and understanding of the rhythms by sharing their audio recordings and painstakingly-researched-on notations. It has helped me alot and I am very grateful.

Eiktha! I couldn't agree more. I have some sound files to catch up in uploading, and will do so over the coming weekend - need to catch up on 'normal life' at the moment - I happily put everything on hold for the last week and now I'm paying for it ;)

I was inspired, I was challenged, I learned how much I don't know and how much effort I need to put in. The energy! The togetherness! It really makes me appreciate this drumming community and family that we have - all built around the djembe!

Bravo! Encore!
